Your Place for Year-Round Aquatics
The “W” at Wartburg College is the place for indoor aquatics and recreation.
Enjoy lap swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, recreational swimming with zero-depth entry, the vortex pool, sauna and steam room. The Schuldt Natatorium at the “W” hosts many aquatic events and activities throughout the year.
The outdoor pool, located in Memorial Park, is closed at the present time while plans move forward for a new pool to be constructed.
The aquatic facilities at the "W" are your place for water fitness and fun in Waverly.
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool area features six lanes for laps, a circular endless pool, a water slide, a large whirlpool, sauna and locker rooms.
Climbing Wall
The 30-foot tall climbing wall can hold up to six climbers at one time with no height or weight restrictions. Harnesses, ropes, and other necessary equipment are provided along with certified staff. The climbing wall is open weekday evenings and weekend afternoons.
Fitness Center
The “W” offers a wide variety of fitness equipment for community use.
Walston-Hoover Stadium
The Walston-Hoover Stadium is home to Wartburg football.
Levick Arena
The Levick Arena seats nearly 1,800 fans for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.
